Really often an indoor air quality is affected by the presence of various types of contaminants present in the air. Some air contaminants are in the form of gases, some are in the form of airborne suspended particulate. The majority of a workers time is spent indoor, so it is essential that the indoor environment and air quality provides a happy, healthy working environment.
Why is this necessary?
Our test can provide information to ensure well being of indoor occupants including: Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Carbon Monoxide (CO), temperature and relative humidity.
Air-conditioning units can often be the cause of the problem if there is not enough fresh air introduced from the outdoor environment, contaminated with mould and/or bacteria.
Australia currently has no specific standards on indoor air quality – apart from workplace situations under the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission.
